South Rift Branch

This branch is home to numerous multinational tea and flower companies with a membership largely in the Agriculture/ Horticulture Industry. The ICPAK south rift Branch has also found a home in this largely agricultural town of Kericho. It is at the Southern region of Rift Valley region approximately 265Kms from Nairobi.

It is at the Southern region of Rift Valley region approximately 265Kms from Nairobi. The South Rift Branch was a split from the previous western regional branch that has comprised the former Western & Rift Valley Provinces. The counties include Bomet, Narok and the host, Kericho.

The Branch was launched by CPA Caroline J. Kigen, the then ICPAK Chief Executive on 10th August 2011; at this meeting, the branch boundaries were agreed upon and an interim office was nominated to run the affairs of the branch for a period of one year.

The initial membership comprised of 55 CPAs. The branch has since grown in numbers with the current statistics indicating 227 active membership. This is as a result of aggressive marketing and by holding CPD events at the branch level which has significantly reduced the cost of compliance to members hence enhancing the growth of the profession.

During the 7th Annual Members Meeting held on Friday 25th January 2019, the current ICPAK Council Chairman, FCPA Julius Mwatu, launched the South Rift Branch Physical Office. This becomes the eighth branch office. It is situated at the 7th floor of Imarisha Kebo Plaza in Kericho.
